In 2017, Zack Snyder will make the dreams of comic book fans everywhere come true when he finally brings the Justice League to the big screen. Mad Max: Fury Road director George Miller came close with a fully CGI movie a number of years ago, but this version is going to be all live-action and could give The Avengers a run for its money if handled well.

It was recently revealed that Warner Bros. are putting Justice League Dark back on the fast track, with the plan being to place the movie firmly in the DC Extended Universe and for characters from this team to start showing up in some of the already announced DC Comics adaptations (sign me up for a team-up between Swamp-Thing and The Flash).

Having John Constantine briefly show up in Justice League could help set the stage for this long delayed movie, whether he’s depicted as being ignored by the heroes after seeking them out for help – hence why the Justice League Dark are assembled – or possibly even helping them out in some capacity.

Warner Bros. needs to start pushing their shared universe and getting regular moviegoers excited about these newly introduced characters, and this would be an ideal way of doing that.
