Avengers: Endgame Toy Leak Reveals New Look At Captain Marvel

Nonetheless, the heroine has still made appearances in a fair amount of leaked Endgame tie-in material, including this new Hasbro toy that teases the design for Brie Larson’s character in the upcoming ensemble flick. As you can see, aside from perhaps a slight change in hairstyle, Carol isn’t looking all that different from how she will in next month’s Captain Marvel movie, wearing the already familiar red-and-blue classic costume, as opposed to the green Kree suit that she’ll also sport for parts of her solo feature.

As it stands, we still have many questions about Carol’s role in Endgame, not least what she’s been doing for the twenty-plus years between the events of Captain Marvel and the next Avengers film. In particular, given all the major events in recent MCU history, you have to wonder why Nick Fury waited so long to call on the services of the franchise’s most powerful superhero, paging Carol only in his final moments at the end of Infinity War.

Captain Marvel executive producer Jonathan Schwartz has offered his assurance that next month’s release will answer this question, though Samuel L. Jackson may have already offered a big hint with his tease that Carol can travel through time. Regardless, we’ll see how Carol fares with the spotlight to herself when Captain Marvel hits theaters on March 8th, 2019, before she joins the rest of her superhero peers when Avengers: Endgame comes out on April 26th.
