So, now that we’re within reaching distance, it seems as though we’re getting treated to new TV spots and featurettes by the day. Obviously, today will be no different, as the marketing machine keeps chugging along with yet another brief video package that will no doubt get fans hyped up even more.

In this instance, we get a few more flashes of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes going off into battle, as the likes of Black Widow, Iron Man, Captain America, Black Panther, Doctor Strange and many others hold their ground against Thanos, thus dangling the steak branded with “5 Days Left” in front of our faces.

Speaking of the sheer number of superheroes on display, Benedict Cumberbatch, the Sorcerer Supreme himself, recently had this to say regarding that very topic:

“No one really knows, I’ve heard everything from sort of 36 to 23 was the most frequently quoted number, but I don’t even think the Russo Brothers who directed it know quite how many there are in it. I’m sure they do actually. They know everything.”

No matter how you slice it, that’s a heck of a lot of characters to play with. One could even say it’s like Joe and Anthony Russo have access to a box full of Marvel Legends figures that can walk and talk!

In all seriousness, we’ll be right there with the rest of you when Avengers: Infinity War opens in theaters in just a few short days, on April 27.
