8 Superhero Fights We Want To See On The Big Screen Next

The superhero vs. superhero trend is properly in full swing right now. This month we’ve had Daredevil vs. Punisher in Daredevil season two and The Dark Knight vs. Supes in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, while next month sees Captain America duke it out with Iron Man in Captain America: Civil War. For whatever reason, that fixture of geeky conversations (“who would win in a fight if…”) is being currently being mined by those who make superhero adaptations.

Again, sadly, the chances of this battle between two of Marvel’s most perennially popular characters making it to the big screen doesn’t seem too likely. Apart from the aforementioned reason of Jackman bowing out of the role, Spider-Man and Wolverine belong to different studios. But, come on, it’s Spider-Man and Wolverine – how could we not want to see them battle it out in the big screen? Plus, they did almost crossover in the past.

In 1987’s “Spider-Man Versus Wolverine”, Spidey gets involved with some secret espionage stuff which puts him in conflict with Wolverine. The fight is a fascinating one as it reveals that Spidey, if he really went for it, is a hugely powerful fighter – apparently he can kill someone with just one punch. In fact, the tussle could have ended with them killing each other, if they hadn’t come to their senses in time.
