First Look At Ed Harris As John McCain In Game Change

Well we've already seen an image of Julianne Moore as Sarah Palin in the upcoming HBO TV film Game Change, now we can bring you a picture of Ed Harris as John McCain. My first reaction: whoa. That is scary. The look of Moore was scarily accurate and this is even more so. I have to admit I was initially skeptical about the casting of Ed Harris, he isn't the man that immediately comes to mind when I think of McCain. But this has blown any of those doubts away, and his acting ability will no question, match that look. The film will cover the Republican campaign at the 2008 elections, primarily the relationship between Palin and McCain.

Well we’ve already seen an image of Julianne Moore as Sarah Palin in the upcoming HBO TV film Game Change. Now we bring you a picture of Ed Harris as John McCain and my first reaction is whoa, that is scary. The look of Moore was scarily accurate and this is even more so.

I have to admit I was initially skeptical about the casting of Ed Harris, he isn’t the man that immediately comes to mind when I think of McCain. But this picture has blown any of those doubts away, and his acting ability will unquestionably match that look. The film will cover the Republican campaign at the 2008 elections, primarily the relationship between Palin and McCain.

The film is directed by Jay Roach and written by Danny Strong, who previously collaborated on Recount, another political story about the 2000 Florida vote recounts, also done for HBO. Mr. Roach, you know how to cast and direct this kind of drama, stick to doing these instead of dire comedies like Dinner for Schmucks. The film also stars Woody Harrelson, Sarah Paulson and Peter MacNicol among others. The film has no set release date but began filming last month. (Entertainment Weekly)
