After a relatively short spell in front of the cameras, during which time Jamie Lee Curtis (Laurie Strode) shared numerous set photos, filming on the pic has now wrapped and that can only mean one thing: it’s time for the marketing machine to kick into high gear – which it definitely has.

Because with only a handful of months remaining now until Halloween storms into theaters and scares the living daylights out of us all, Michael Myers is ready for round two, and we now have a good idea of what that’ll look like, as Blumhouse has finally delivered the very first footage from the pic. Granted, this is only the teaser for the full trailer, but it does provide us with a lot to feast on, showing off Myers in all his glory and promising an epic confrontation between Laurie and the demented serial killer.

As for the real deal, it’s due to hit the web tomorrow and promises to be every bit as bone-chilling as John Carpenter’s cult classic from ’78. As we mentioned before, Curtis is back as Laurie and the actress and all-around scream queen legend has already warned fans that they’re in for an absolutely terrifying experience – something we don’t doubt.

Hell, the reactions from CinemaCon were so overwhelmingly positive that Halloween now finds itself among some of the most anticipated films of 2018. Whether it can live up to all the hype remains to be seen, but everything we’ve heard so far has us eagerly anticipating the return of Mr. Myers and come tomorrow morning, we’ll be able to see for ourselves what the franchise has cooked up for its next outing.

Haddonfield swings its doors open to Halloween once more when David Gordon Green’s follow-up creeps out of the shadows and into theaters on October 19th. Stay tuned to WGTC for full coverage of what is sure to be a spooky trailer reveal on Friday.
