Helen McCrory And Ola Rapace Confirmed For Skyfall
We’ve been getting a lot of news lately about the upcoming James Bond film including a title, which is Skyfall, and confirmation of the villain being played by Javier Bardem. Now comes word from the official Bond Twitter account that both Helen McCrory and Ola Rapace will have roles in the film, but as to what those roles will be remains unknown. They join a cast that already includes Daniel Craig, Judi Dench, Naomie Harris, Bérénice Marlohe, Judi Dench, Ben Whishaw, Ralph Fiennes, and Albert Finney.
You may recall McCrory from her work in the last three Harry Potter films where she played Narcissa Malfoy. You can also see her in Martin Scorsese‘s upcoming kids’ film Hugo. Ola Rapace, ex-husband of actress Noomi Rapace, has done many Swedish projects, but this looks to be his first major role in an English language film.
Skyfall is being directed by Oscar-winner Sam Mendes from a screenplay by Robert Wade, Neil Purvis, Patrick Marber, and John Logan.
The film is due out on October 26, 2012 in the U.K. and November 9, 2012 in the U.S.
