Trailer For Dark Knight Anchored Christopher Nolan 4K Ultra HD Blu-Ray Collection Arrives

Although many superhero movies have graced the silver screen since The Dark Knight Trilogy concluded its run back in 2012, it could be argued that very few to follow have laid claim to having the same cultural impact or have garnered as much praise. Really, in addition to Batman Begins being the film that put the reboot concept on the map, it, and the trilogy as a whole, showed that comic book flicks were capable of doing much more than just selling toys – they could tell stories as rich and as layered as what can be found in the source material itself.

Of course, much of the credit goes to the man who oversaw the whole thing, that being director Christopher Nolan. Sure, there are probably other auteurs in Hollywood who are also fans of the Caped Crusader, but it took the right filmmaker at the right time to breathe new life into the genre. And, to the surprise of nobody, the success of his Batman movies allowed him to pretty much write his own ticket at Warner Bros.

As such, he went on to helm various other beloved blockbusters that didn’t feature costumed heroes. And soon enough, each offering of his released by WB will soon be getting an upgrade of sorts via the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray format.

Now, with said release being imminent, a trailer has debuted, effectively cutting together footage culled from each of Nolan’s achievements to be included, those being Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises, The Prestige, Inception, Interstellar and Dunkirk. You can purchase them all individually, as a seven-film set (BUY HERE), or just opt for The Dark Knight Trilogy itself (BUY HERE) when each package arrives in stores on December 19. Whichever option you choose, though, you can’t go wrong.
