While we already heard a preview of What So Not’s latest remix project, the new live rip offers up our first comprehensive taste of the rework. The remix opens with the familiar haunting melody from the original theme, before crashing future bass percussion joins in alongside splashy chords and creeping arpeggios. The audio quality is quite poor, but it’s enough to have us excited for what the producer has dreamed up.

There’s no update on whether or not What So Not‘s Stranger Things remix is slated for an official release at some point, but we’ll keep our fingers crossed that a higher quality recording will surface in the near future.
