‘Classic Frontotemporal dementia’: Trump confuses Harlem and Harvard in bizarre ramble

Hey, big guy. Sun’s gettin’ real low...

Donald Trump‘s brain is unique and fascinating. Feed a question into it, and the response you get out will leave you staggered at the surreal leaps in logic and disregard of reality. There’s nobody out there thinking quite like him, and we hope that one day his brain will be handed over to medical science so they can puzzle out what’s going on.

If this carcrash mind was inside a regular celebrity skull we’d be onto a winner. Unfortunately it’s now the most powerful brain in the world, with the power to unleash nuclear armageddon at the touch of a button.

All of which means the fact that Trump is currently making even less sense than usual should worry you. Yesterday Stephen A. Smith was quizzing him about his crusade against Harvard University, which has refused to bow to the administration’s absurdly authoritarian demands about what they teach and what their students are permitted to believe.

Trump’s response repeatedly confused “Harlem” and “Harvard”, invented a bizarre imaginary protest by Harlem residents against Harvard University, and praised himself for his “very high Black vote”. It didn’t go unnoticed by observers that Smith is Black, which appears to have set Trump’s mangled mind on this winding and confused path.

The response on social media is bafflement and nervous laughter that this guy is President:

It’s a sad indictment of American politics that the nation appears to have had back-to-back senile leaders, each with a tenuous grasp on reality. At least Biden was carefully managed by his handlers, only coming unstuck when he was shoved on stage for that disastrous Presidential debate. But it appears everyone’s too scared to point out that Emperor Trump isn’t wearing any clothes.

Whatever the case, it’s time to buckle up and steel yourself, as things are only going to get weirder and more chaotic from here on out.
