Hungover woman forgets her earbuds for a Delta flight. Then the flight attendant starts an announcement that sounds like a spiritual meditation

'I’m baring my all, just for you, together in this moment.'

A Delta flight attendant recently turned a standard pre-flight announcement into a bizarre, meditative monologue that caught the attention of passengers and internet users alike. The moment occurred on a flight where a passenger, known on TikTok as @jerseymikes13, found herself in the middle seat without her earbuds while feeling the effects of a hangover, BroBible reports.

The video, which has gained 448,900 views, captures the flight attendant delivering a performance that felt more like a spiritual session than a safety briefing. The flight attendant, who introduced himself as Guan, began his monologue by commenting on his attire. He said, “I have my jacket on now, let’s put it that way, and I feel a lot more locked in. I feel like I should have presented myself this way in the beginning, so, here I am. I’m baring my all, just for you, together in this moment.”

He continued by explaining his name, noting, “My name is Guan, like the island, but spelled extremely different by about 8 or 9 letters. That’s neither here nor there. I feel the need to express it each and every time I introduce myself as it brings me into the moment, a moment such as this, a moment such as this, a moment such as this. I feel clear, connected, most of all kind, hopefully you feel the same. I’ll be your flight leader on today’s flight, accompanied by three of Atlanta’s finest. Looking forward to taking great care of you, doing your bidding as long as your bidding is good, that is, we’ve got you covered.”

The announcement concluded with a request for passengers to watch the safety video

Guan said, “Now, a safety demonstration will ensue momentarily on the screens in front of you; if and only if you can pay attention to that, we’d really appreciate it. Welcome aboard, glad to have you. Thanks again for choosing Delta. Glad to have you.” He then ended the speech by repeating the phrase “Choose Delta” until his voice trailed off.

According to the passenger, this was not a one-time occurrence. She shared subsequent videos showing that the announcements continued in the same spirit, shifting between practical flight details and a strange, meditative tone. Commenters on the video were quick to react to the unusual display. One person noted, “He really wanted to be a meditation instructor but it never panned out.” Another person joked, “He has captured ya’ll in a flying paper tube and he WILL show off his talents.”

Some viewers compared the tone of the speech to a “Batman villain a**** monologue,” while others wondered about the logistics of his name spelling. One commenter asked, “How can you spell Guam with 8 letters?” Another suggested that the flight attendant sounded like Colman Domingo.

This experience stands in contrast to other reports regarding flight attendant interactions. Some passengers encounter much less friendly service. A separate viral video posted by a user named Jenny recounted a time a flight attendant reacted with hostility when asked for a cup of ice. The attendant reportedly snapped, “YOU NEED TO BE PATIENT.”

Jenny described the aftermath by saying, “Everyone turns to look at you, and you just sit there chewing, stunned.”
