Trump announces new ‘Super Range’ for testing advanced weapons, warns ‘wild animals’ will ‘eat you’ without your guns: ‘animals would gain a lot of weight’

That argument definitely went places.

President Donald Trump announced plans for a new weapons-testing facility in Montana, according to Newsweek. Speaking at the Majestic Valley Arena in Kalispell, Trump announced that the Department of War would establish a new “Super Range” in the state to test advanced military technologies. He said the facility would cover several emerging areas of warfare, including autonomous weapons, space and electronic warfare, and supersonic and hypersonic technology.

“Montana will help ensure the American military always reigns supreme,” he told the crowd. The president was in the state to campaign for Republican Aaron Flint, who is running against Democrat Sam Forstag for Montana’s 1st Congressional District.

Trump also highlighted his administration’s efforts to expand hunting access on public lands, citing changes involving the Hailstone National Wildlife Refuge. However, he appeared to lose patience with his own prepared remarks. “What the hell are we doing? Hey Greg, nobody knows where the hell these places are. What am I doing this for?” he said.

According to the president, guns are important

Gun rights quickly became a major theme of Trump’s Montana rally. The president argued that Democrats would threaten the Second Amendment if they won, warning supporters that losing access to firearms could leave them vulnerable to wildlife.

“If the Democrat communists win, they will take away your guns,” Trump said. “You know who would love that to happen? Some of the wild animals you have up here that like eating you. The animals would gain a lot of weight.” He promised that gun rights would remain protected under his leadership, and that the Second Amendment would not be infringed “in any way, shape or form” if Republicans won.

The rally also touched on Trump’s economic policies, particularly tariffs. He dismissed concerns that the import duties were contributing to rising prices, arguing instead that they were creating wealth and protecting American industries. “Tariffs don’t cause inflation. They cause wealth,” Trump said, pointing to the protection of American sawmills as an example of their benefits.

He claimed that prices were rising at an annual rate of just 1.7%. However, that’s not true. The Bureau of Labor Statistics issued a news release that shows that the Republicans are heading into mid-term elections with a 3.7% inflation rate, with a 0.6% increase observed in September alone.

The document added that the index for gasoline rose by 9.1% in September, which was one of the core factors behind inflation. To tackle the effects, the Federal Reserve also raised the interest rate to the 3.75% to 4.00% range.
