New York woman claims she ordered a single can of Diet Coke at 4 am on Uber Eats. Instead, her porch got flooded with soda and milk

She apparently got more than she bargained for.

A New York woman got more than she bargained for when she claims she ordered a single can of Diet Coke at 4 a.m. on Uber Eats. She says she opened her door and found multiple bags of soda and milk on her porch. TikTok creator Sexybabymommyscoobyruhroh (@leahscoobydoobydoo) shared the alleged delivery mix-up in a recent video that has been viewed nearly 740k times as of publication.

Leah’s video showed several delivery bags sitting outside her door. One bag appeared to contain multiple 2-liter bottles of Diet Coke, while other bags contained additional groceries, including milk. The text overlay on the post read: “Ordered a Diet Coke at 4 a.m. & this came instead …. ?” The caption explained, “3 Milks and 12 2l diet cokes??????”

The post drew comments from TikTok users reacting to the amount of soda. One commenter wrote, “You hit the absolute motherload.”

Leah’s commenters shared similar stories.

Other users said they had experienced their own unexpected delivery mix-ups. One commenter described ordering 12 individual cans of cat food but receiving two 24-packs instead. The commenter said they had been running low on money at the time. For that reason, they appreciated the unexpected delivery. They did attempt to return the extra cat food before realizing the driver had already left.

The commenter described the experience as especially meaningful because they had been struggling to make ends meet. Similar stories appeared elsewhere in the comments, with users describing incorrect deliveries ranging from far more than they ordered to getting completely different items.

In a separate case, in May 2026, a Reddit user said they ordered a $15 Chick-fil-A meal but received an approximately $80 sushi order instead. The user said the driver had apparently stopped at a sushi restaurant before delivering the food.

Ordering in person has its own share of frustration. A Diary Queen customer allegedly had such a difficult time dealing with that location’s automated ordering system that an employee told her she needed an “attitude check.

Uber Eats has an official process for customers who receive the wrong order. According to Uber’s Help Center, customers who believe they received someone else’s entire order can report the issue and submit photos of the items or receipt. Uber says it reviews the details and may offer a refund, although it does not replace the order.

The company also has a separate process for orders containing some incorrect or missing items. Uber asks customers to provide details about what they ordered and what they received, along with a photo when possible. The company says customers may be eligible for a refund or credit depending on the circumstances.

Meanwhile, another woman recently reported on TikTok that her Uber Eats order somehow ended up inside her house, leading her to think the driver entered her home. She shared Uber Eats’ response in the post.
