Batwoman Becomes A Symbol Of Hope In New Comic-Con Trailer

Despite lead actress Ruby Rose having to pull out of her San Diego Comic-Con appearance, the highly anticipated Batwoman series was still well-represented. Like other Arrowverse shows, the newest addition to the lineup was welcomed by fans with open arms at its very own panel.

If you weren’t fortunate enough to attend a screening of the pilot episode though, then we have the next best thing for you. Embedded at the top of this article is that of the latest trailer promoting Kate Kane’s solo adventures. After already being treated to some gorgeous artwork earlier this week, a fresh video package seems like the perfect way to cap it all off. Granted, it doesn’t really reveal very much, only showing us what appear to be fans of the titular heroine getting the Batwoman symbol tattoed on themselves, but it’s still a welcome little promo regardless.

Of course, it’s not just Ruby Rose’s titular character that folks are excited to see here. In addition to individuals like Luke Fox (the future Batwing) and Alice being adapted for the small screen, there are tons of reasons to be geeked for the show. In case you hadn’t heard, a major Batman villain will be showing up very early on in the season, with the first run set to feature none other than Hush. And better yet, we’ll apparently get to explore his backstory, too.

Truth be told, it wouldn’t shock me if more rogues were to put in appearances down the line. With Gotham now off the air, countless baddies are fair game. Granted, those likely to appear in Matt Reeves’ The Batman are probably off limits, but Arkham Asylum certainly has no shortage of inmates to choose from.

Batwoman premieres on Sunday, October 6th on The CW. With its premiere date quickly approaching, we imagine we’ll start to see a lot more from it as well, so be sure to stay tuned for further promos and previews over the coming weeks.
