Ahead of the crossover’s start this Sunday, The CW have provided Batwoman with her own poster. Sure, it’s essentially a reissue of the first official image of the character we got a few months back, but it’s hard to complain when we got that amazing multi-part, The Avengers-spoofing poster featuring the whole gang the other day.

As shared by the Supergirl Twitter account, the caption for the poster reads: “Meet Kate Kane. #Elseworlds begins Sunday at 8/7c on The CW!”

Rose has previously explained how Batwoman will take after Batman in rocking that whole troubled dual identity thing. In her everyday life, Rose described Kate Kane as a fun-loving billionaire who the ladies love but, when’s wearing the iconic pointy-eared cowl, she’s more serious-minded. One exec producer even joked: “She’s a lot like Batman in the sense that she’s kind of a dick.”

What’s more, Melissa Benoist has promised that Supergirl and Batwoman will find a lot of common ground in the crossover. For one, they’re both cousins to more famous male superheros – like Kara Danvers is related to Clark Kent, Kate Kane is the maternal cousin of Bruce Wayne.

In “Elseworlds,” the Arrowverse trinity – Green Arrow, the Flash and the Girl of Steel – will travel to Gotham City as they’re on the hunt for Arkham Asylum’s Dr. John Deegan, who’s altering reality. That includes switching Barry Allen and Oliver Queen’s identities. Oh, and Superman’ll show up as well. Plus, his black-suited evil doppelganger. Oh, and the 1990s Flash, too.

Yup, there’s lots to look forward to and it all kicks off with The Flash on Sunday, December 9th.
