We can probably all agree that there’s an undeniable appeal when it comes to seeing villains team up. I mean, with the Green Arrow having his own crew of vigilantes, it only seems natural that some baddies join forces to match them from time to time, right?

Well, we got just that this week on Arrow when Cupid, China White and Liza Warner took the fight to Star City’s heroes and tried to make a dishonest buck in the process. But what served as the cherry on top was undoubtedly the big showdown late in the episode, which I’d have to say was a brilliant marriage between fight choreography and cinematography. It’s quite unfortunate that ratings reached a series low because those who didn’t tune in missed one hell of a show.

Elsewhere, Prometheus continued moving pieces across the chessboard, tipping off John Law and causing the noose to tighten around Oliver Queen’s neck as it were. And although it looks like we may not find out who’s under the mask for quite some time, we pretty much got confirmation that this ruthless killer is indeed a man, so at least we got something out of the deal.
