‘The Real Housewives of New York’ cast 2023

New season, all-new cast of influential women.

After its poorly received 13th season, The Real Housewives of New York City are coming back in 2023, with an all-new cast of influential women. The upcoming season will mark a shift in the franchise’s typical cast, which tended to feature older socialites discussing the various ways in which their upper-crust lives are so complicated.

For the first time, the show will now put a group of diverse, younger influencers in the limelight, in an attempt to gather a more modern audience. The cast was announced last year, and while the decision didn’t sit well with everyone, the new stars of the show are more than ready to take the reality TV industry by storm. But who are they exactly? How much do we know about them? Surely, as season 14 airs, viewers will get in-depth knowledge of these housewives, but until then, here is everything you need to know about them.

Brynn Whitfield

Despite being deemed a housewife for the purpose of this show, Brynn Whitfield isn’t actually married., but describes herself as a future trophy wife. While that doesn’t happen, this cast member spends her daily life in an apartment in West Village, in which she loves to host gatherings. Before having the luxurious life she has now, though, Whitfield attended college, earning her Bachelor’s degree in Communication-Public Relations & Advertising, which she clearly knew how to put to good use. Nowadays, she works as a marketing communications consultant but doesn’t let her career hinder her other passions, such as fashion, yoga, and interior design.

Ubah Hassan

Ubah Hassan’s childhood is marked by her escape from Kenya, along with her brother and father. After moving to Canada, she was discovered by a photographer who took an interest in her appearance, which propelled Hassan to a career in modeling. Later, she switched from Canada to the U.S., signing on with a modeling agency in New York, where she has now settled down. Like Whitfield, this new cast member is unmarried, dedicating her life to her career as a model and business owner. If you think her business has anything to do with the fashion industry, though, think again — Hassan actually sells hot sauces under her brand name, Ubah Hot.

Erin Dana Lichy

A New Yorker through and through, Erin Dan Lichy was born in Manhattan, where she still lives to this day. She was raised with four siblings and graduated from New York University with a degree in sustainable real estate development, an area of interest shared by her family. Lichy became a real estate agent at only 19 years old and is now working under the luxury company Douglas Elliman, a job she has to balance with the interior design company, Homegirl, of which she is president. Work didn’t stop Lichy from starting a family, though, as she is happily married to Abraham Lichy, with whom she has three kids.

Sai De Silva

Moving to New York from Los Angeles at only two years old, Sai de Silva spent most of her life hopping from place to place, however, no other city has felt as much like home as the Big Apple. Making a life out of her social media presence, Silva owns a blog titled Scout the City, in which she posts content related to fashion, travel, fitness, and food, mostly inspired by her own life. When she’s not blogging, Silva can be found creating content for her YouTbe channel or raising her two children with her husband, David Craig, with whom she tied the knot in 2009.

Jenna Lyons

Jenna Lyons is an already familiar face to fashion and reality show enthusiasts, having starred in the HBO Max series Stylish with Jenna Lyons. After her studies at the Parsons School of Design, this cast member started developing her career in the industry by becoming part of the J.Crew team at 21. She eventually made it to the top of the company before quitting to dedicate her time to other projects, such as her eyelash brand, LoveSeen, and the interior design company The Expert. This is a lot of work for only one person, but Lyons manages it quite well and still makes time for her son, Beckett Mazeau.

Jessel Taank

Unlike other New Yorker housewives, Jessel Taank was actually born across the Atlantic Ocean, in London, only moving to the Big Apple later in life to fulfill her career goals. And it looks like the risk paid off, as now she makes a living as a fashion publicist and brand consultant. After being introduced to Pavit Randhawa at a bar, the two struck up a friendship, and after three years of dating, the two finally tied the knot in 2014 with a ceremony held in Mexico. Currently, the couple has two sons together, but who knows what the future will bring.

The Real Housewives of New York City season 14 is scheduled for a July 16 premiere.
