With the series premiere of Titans being just around the corner – not to mention what’s sure to be a rather informative presentation at New York Comic Con next week – it’s understandable that the folks at DC step up their game when it comes to marketing what some may consider being the DC Universe streaming service’s flagship show.

This month alone, we’ve been treated to a heck of a lot of images taken from the first two episodes (you can check them out here and here) and a rather amusing clip showing Dick Grayson meeting Jason Todd, the young man who’s been selected by Batman as being the second Robin.

Now, our latest gift comes in the form of what may very well be the most visually appealing image promoting the series, that being a beautiful new poster. Seen below, the likes of Robin, Beast Boy, Raven and Starfire come together in order to whet fans’ appetites.

Considering how this is more colorful than the dark tone established by the original trailer and other promotional materials, one has to wonder if DC are course correcting and lightening up things in advance of the premiere. By that, I mean the posters and such because it’s probably too late in the game for Suicide Squad-style reshoots, the likes of which I hope never take place.

For more, be sure to give the official synopsis a gander:

Titans follows young heroes from across the DC Universe as they come of age and find belonging in a gritty take on the classic Teen Titans franchise. Dick Grayson and Rachel Roth, a special young girl possessed by a strange darkness, get embroiled in a conspiracy that could bring Hell on Earth. Joining them along the way are the hot-headed Starfire and loveable Beast Boy. Together they become a surrogate family and team of heroes.

Titans premieres on Friday, October 12 on DC Universe.
