The official-as-of-yesterday PlayStation 4 Slim will go on sale at all major retailers on September 15, but before you place your pre-order for the slimmed-down, $299 version of the standard PS4, you’ll probably want to give these rather generous bundles a quick look first.
Sony and Naughty Dog are once again partnering up to bring you the Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End bundle, which features the new Slim console, a copy of the aforementioned game and a single DualShock 4 gamepad for $299. The Blog post doesn’t make it entirely clear, but it appears as though this one will be available across the whole of North America.
The second bundle (pictured below) includes all of the contents of the previous one, but swaps out the copy of Uncharted 4 for NHL 2017 instead. This one is exclusive to Canada, will go on sale from September 15 for $379.99 CAD and only be available for a “limited time.”
We’re no financial experts, but both deals represent pretty terrific value for money, especially if you don’t already own a base PS4. Of course, you may well be holding on to your cash in anticipation of the PS4 Pro – Sony’s answer to Microsoft’s Project Scorpio and the first mid-generation console that’ll be released. You can see here for more details on that.
