Vision To Play A Large Role In Scarlet Witch TV Show

According to /Film, Vision's set to play a large role on the Scarlet Witch TV show coming to Disney's streaming service.

Ahead of the release of Avengers: Infinity War, co-directors Joe and Anthony Russo often described the human-robot romance of Vision and Scarlet Witch as the “beating heart” of the mega blockbuster.

And to their credit, the Russo Brothers certainly ensured there was a fair chunk of screen time for Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany’s respective characters, all of which led to the heartbreaking moment when the former is left with no choice but to kill the one person she holds so dear (i.e. Vision) so that Earth’s Mightiest Heroes may destroy the Mind Stone and, with it, the chances of the Mad Titan wiping out half of all life in the universe.

She reluctantly carries out the deed, of course, only to be undone by the Time Stone, which allows Thanos to go back through time ever so slightly and kill Vision all over again. It’s a pretty traumatic scene on so many levels, but it seems that there’s more to come for this particular couple, as Bettany is apparently set to feature pretty heavily in the Scarlet Witch TV show.

As you’ve surely heard, Marvel’s currently working on TV series for Wanda, Loki, Falcon and Winter Soldier, all of which will premiere on Disney’s upcoming streaming service. And according to /Film, Vision will be joining his one true love on the small screen, with the outlet reporting the following:

The other thing I’m hearing is that Paul Bettany‘s Vision will have a large part in the previously reported Scarlet Witch show. In fact, it may actually be a series more about the super-powered couple than just Wanda.

Though Bettany’s journey in the MCU seemed to come to an end when Vision was murdered by Thanos, concept art for Avengers 4 has since suggested that Vis will be back with a new look in the next film. Unfortunately, what’s still unclear though is when exactly this Scarlet Witch TV show takes place and how it’ll tie into the events of what we see in cinemas.

In any case, whether Wanda and the android make it out of next May’s sequel alive or not, it’s nice to know that the film won’t be the end of their story.
