Walking Dead Season 11 Will Reportedly Set Up [SPOILERS] As Franchise’s New Lead
The end is nigh for The Walking Dead. The post-apocalyptic drama will conclude in 2022 following its super-sized eleventh season. Here's the thing, though - while the parent series will come to a close, the franchise will continue on in rude health. There are various spinoffs already in the works, including those Andrew Lincoln movies, a vehicle for Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride and anthology show Tales of the Walking Dead.

Shazam! Fury Of The Gods Director Addresses Henry Cavill Rumors
This week, a report started doing the rounds claiming that Henry Cavill was due to reprise his role as Superman for Shazam! Fury of the Gods, the upcoming sequel featuring Zachary Levi as aged-up superhero Billy Batson. It made sense, too, as 2019's Shazam! established that Billy and the Man of Steel know each other, with Big Blue making a cameo in its final moments (except only from the neck down, with a double standing in for Cavill).

Batman And Superman Will Reportedly Meet In The Arrowverse
Later this month, the Arrowverse is set to expand with the premiere of Superman and Lois, featuring long-term guest star Tyler Hoechlin in the lead as the Man of Steel. It was a big deal when The CW got the all-clear to make use of the hero back in 2016, and since then, the network's DC franchise has grown and grown. 2019's "Crisis on Infinite Earths" even featured a version of Batman - Kevin Conroy's corrupt Bruce Wayne from another Earth - but will there ever come a day when Superman and Bats can team up within the Arrowverse?

Armie Hammer Dropped By Agency And Publicist Amidst Cannibalism Scandal
The past few weeks have not been good to Armie Hammer. Last month, the Call Me By Your Name actor became embroiled in a social media scandal following screenshots circulating of alleged conversations between Hammer and his fans in which he appeared to admit to being a cannibal. While it's unlikely that the star is a real-life Hannibal Lecter, this incident still caused multiple women from Hammer's past to speak up about unpleasant experiences they had while dating him.

Though the Pacific Rim franchise was done? Think again. The disappointing 2018 sequel Pacific Rim: Uprising may have squandered the potential for Guillermo del Toro's 2013 film to spawn a major movie series, but now it's coming back in a new form on Netflix. Pacific Rim: The Black will relaunch the universe in the shape of an anime-styled animated series. Earlier this week, the streamer gave us a taste of what was to come with a brief teaser, now the first full trailer has landed. Check it out in the player above.

Full Title For Marvel’s Blade Reboot Reportedly Revealed
Summer 2019 brought the news that Mahershala Ali was to star in a Blade reboot for Marvel Studios, but since then the project appeared to have been put on the backburner, with no further cast or crew hired. This Friday, though, the first name to be attached to the production aside from Ali has been revealed. Stacy Osei-Kuffour, who wrote for HBO's Watchmen, is set to contribute the film's script, as per The Hollywood Reporter.

WandaVision Just Set Up A Big Confrontation To Come In Captain Marvel 2
The latest episode of WandaVision was another major one which will no doubt have huge repercussions for the future of the MCU. Not only did Vision discover the truth about Westview, but Wanda's long-lost brother Quicksilver returned, though now he's the Evan Peters version from the X-Men movies. Amongst all this excitement, another moment from the episode seems to have been overlooked by fans, but it could prove key to Captain Marvel 2.

Chris Evans Rumored To Return As Human Torch In Doctor Strange 2
Before he was Captain America, Chris Evans was the Human Torch in Fox's original Fantastic Four movies and, to be honest, he was probably the best thing about them, too, portraying an authentic version of playboy superhero Johnny Storm. Evans has been asked before if he'd ever be up for reprising his role in the MCU, and the actor has admitted that he wouldn't rule it out. And now, with the multiverse being cracked wide open in Phase 4, it's looking like this could become a reality in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
