Titans Reportedly Renewed For Season 4 On HBO Max
Titans has been off our screens for a while now. The second season finale aired at the end of December 2019 and, had things gone to plan, we'd be enjoying the third season right now. Sadly Titans didn't even make it back on set before the COVID-19 pandemic, which has delayed production until sometime next month. This means that the upcoming episodes - which will be the first to premiere on HBO Max rather than DC Universe - aren't expected to land until Fall 2021. But there's light at the end of the tunnel for Titans fans as it appears that the show has already been renewed for the fourth season.

Paramount’s Reportedly Given Up On Making Star Trek Movies
Star Trek has had a presence on the big screen for more than four decades. Back in 1979, Star Trek: The Motion Picture reignited interest in the franchise after The Original Series had become a hit in syndication. So far, thirteen Trek movies have been released in total, with six featuring The Original Series crew, four following The Next Generation and three in the rebooted Kelvinverse. But now it seems that that long cinematic legacy is over, as Paramount has reportedly decided that all in-development Star Trek movies should be put on ice.

Despite being conducted virtually, the 72nd Emmy Awards have gone down as a success. There were a number of cool appearances from TV stars, with highlights being the reunion of Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox and Lisa Kudrow, Ramy Youssef showing us what happens when you lose a virtual Emmy and seeing Zendaya pick up an award for Euphoria. Schitt's Creek, Succession and Watchmen were the night's big winners, and in my opinion, all were well-deserved victories.

Microsoft Buys Doom And Elder Scrolls Publisher ZeniMax Media For $7.5 Billion
Microsoft has announced that they're acquiring ZeniMax Media for $7.5 billion. This means that the technology giant will now own the studios that make some of the biggest gaming franchises in the world, including Bethesda Game Studios' Fallout and Elder Scrolls series, iD Software's DOOM, MachineGames' Wolfenstein and Arkane Studios' Dishonored. The news is a bombshell for gamers, many of whom will have recently preordered a PlayStation 5 assuming that upcoming major titles like Starfield and The Elder Scrolls VI will be released on the platform.

The iconic hockey-masked killer of the Friday the 13th movies has been trapped in legal limbo due to never-ending litigation between franchise producer Sean S. Cunningham and the original film’s writer, Victor Miller. Now, however, after delays caused by appeals, COVID-19 and mediation, it seems that there's light at the end of the tunnel.

When Disney+ was unveiled, we were promised that it'd be the home of exclusive MCU shows. Well, it's almost been a year since the streaming service launched and there's still no sign of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, WandaVision, Loki and the rest. Disney and Marvel Studios are forgiven for not being able to predict the COVID-19 pandemic that wreaked havoc upon the entertainment industry, but either way, it's been a very long wait.

Mulan’s Reportedly Made More Than Tenet From Disney Plus Alone
In news that will be extremely worrying for major cinema chains, the Disney+ Premier Access VOD release of Mulan seems to have financially triumphed over Christopher Nolan's Tenet. The remake of the classic animated film has done very well for the Mouse House so far, with analytics firm 7ParkData estimating that at $29.99 a sale, Disney has made $261 million domestically from the pic.
