If The Haunting Of Bly Manor is anything like its 2018 predecessor The Haunting of Hill House, it's going to be the scariest thing on TV this year. Mike Flanagan's hit first season combined the performances and cinematography of a top-flight prestige drama with some absolutely terrifying supernatural thrills. Can Flanagan and Netflix hit a home run twice, though? Well, they've just released the first stills for the show's next run and it appears they're continuing in much the same vein.

The Haunting Of Bly Manor Poster Teases A Creepy New Season
The Haunting of Hill House remains one of the scariest TV shows I've ever seen. Sure, it was a very well-performed family drama, but the ghostly scares in it had me literally jumping out of my seat. After that success, a second season seemed inevitable, though there was the problem that the current story had come to a natural end. So, creator Mike Flanagan is taking a different tack and the second season - The Haunting of Bly Manor - will be a new tale featuring some of the season 1 cast in different roles.

Director Patty Jenkins, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig, Pedro Pascal and Wonder Woman herself, Gal Gadot, all appeared to discuss the upcoming movie. In addition, we got surprise appearances from tennis star Venus Williams and the iconic live-action Diana, Lynda Carter.

The first trailer for The Batman is set to drop later tonight, but a couple of images have now hit the web in advance that give us a taste of Robert Pattinson's Bruce Wayne. The moody pics show the actor with the cowl off, working in the Batcave and attending some kind of public function as a miserable looking Bruce Wayne. They're a pretty dour and downbeat set of stills, which neatly fits in with what we've heard about Matt Reeves' movie.

It's been a long wait, but we're finally going to step back into Gotham City with Gotham Knights. Developed by Arkham Origins' WB Games Montréal, the story takes place in the wake of Batman's apparent death (yeah right) and sees his sidekicks teaming up to bring peace back to the streets. These will be Nightwing, Robin, Batgirl and Red Hood, who'll unite their talents to bring down various villains.

Ben Affleck’s Batman Will Definitely Be Suiting Up In The Flash
Post-Justice League, it became apparent that Ben Affleck was unlikely to return to the role of Batman. The film's disastrous theatrical cut derailed Warner Bros.' plans for the DCEU and that, combined with complications in Affleck's personal life, meant Matt Reeves' The Batman was retooled as a vehicle for Robert Pattinson. After that, most thought Affleck's Dark Knight was gone for good.

Watch: Final Teaser Trailer For Zack Snyder’s Justice League
This weekend's DC FanDome is going to be huge. There are panels on Wonder Woman 1984, The Sandman, The Flash, The Suicide Squad, Black Adam and The Batman. Some of these will reveal casting news, some will feature new footage and some - like The Suicide Squad and The Batman - will likely give us our first full trailers. But my most anticipated panel has got to be for Zack Snyder's Justice League.

Someone in Netflix's marketing department is likely packing up their desk and being escorted from the building by security today after the company was forced to make a humiliating apology for a disgusting new poster. The controversy centers around the new film Cuties by French-Senegalese director Maïmouna Doucouré, which draws on her experience of growing up black in France to explore the ways that society sexualizes young children.
