Doctor Who Star Confirms 2020’s Holiday Special Finished Filming Before COVID-19
Doctor Who fans are used to a long wait between seasons, but the COVID-19 pandemic may mean it'll be some time before we get new episodes. This is because, as is the case with much of the global entertainment industry, the BBC has suspended the shoots of all its scripted programming. Doctor Who is now unlikely to go back before the cameras until the summer (and that's at the earliest), which may mean we won't see new episodes until mid-2021. But there's at least one ray of light for fans: this year's holiday special, "Revolution of the Daleks," is still on schedule.

Boba Fett Project Reportedly In Development At Disney+
Boba Fett is back, baby! Woo! The iconic Star Wars character has finally clawed and blasted his way out of the Sarlaac Pit and is confirmed to be making an appearance in the second season of The Mandalorian. Even better, he'll be played by the supremely talented Jango Fett actor Temuera Morrison (which makes sense, as Boba Fett is a clone of Jango).

Seinfeld Star Jerry Stiller Has Died At Age 92
Actor and comedian Jerry Stiller, best known for playing Frank Costanza on Seinfeld, has died at the age of 92. The news was confirmed by his son, actor Ben Stiller, who posted on Twitter: "I’m sad to say that my father, Jerry Stiller, passed away from natural causes. He was a great dad and grandfather, and the most dedicated husband to Anne for about 62 years. He will be greatly missed. Love you Dad."

The Mandalorian Might’ve Already Secretly Introduced Boba Fett
Sparks are sure to fly when Boba Fett makes his long-awaited return on The Mandalorian. The iconic Star Wars bounty hunter has been confirmed to appear in the second season, as played by Temuera Morrison (the only plausible choice as he's a clone of Jango Fett). But just because Fett and the Mandalorian wear similar armor, don't expect them to be on the same side. After all, The Mandalorian takes his warrior religion very seriously, while Fett merely wears the armor because his dad did. Blasphemy.

Bad Boys 4 Has Entered Pre-Production, Script Now Being Written
Much as I like superhero and fantasy movies, it's difficult to argue that they haven't squeezed a certain style of blockbuster out of multiplexes. I'm talking about original action properties: films like True Lies, The Rock, Con Air and Die Hard. Perhaps it's simply a sign of the times that there's less of them, but I like a straightforward balls-to-the-wall action movie that's not setting up some expansive cinematic universe. All of which means I was very happy to see Bad Boys For Life become a box office smash and critical hit back in January, successfully reinvigorating a franchise that'd been dormant since 2003.

Netflix’s The Witcher Reportedly Plans To Introduce The Wild Hunt
Netflix's The Witcher sticks relatively closely to Andrzej Sapkowski's original novels, though also owes a huge debt to CD Projekt Red's series of RPG video games. So much so that, were it not for the popularity and success of 2015's The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, it's doubtful Netflix would have ever given the green light. The show uses much of the games' aesthetic style, even going so far as to throw in a couple of direct references to scenes from them for fans to pick up on.

Dave Filoni Says Duel Of The Fates Is One Of The Most Important Moments In Star Wars
Dave Filoni certainly knows a thing or two about Star Wars. He worked under George Lucas for many years prior to the Disney purchase and has been instrumental in the success of The Clone Wars, Rebels and The Mandalorian. In fact, I daresay that the Sequel Trilogy would have definitely benefited from Filoni being more involved in planning it out. This means that when he gives his opinions on Star Wars, it's worth your time to pay attention.
