Those of you who've kept up with our DC TV coverage over the past few years may remember how I was highly critical of Legends of Tomorrow during its first two seasons. I mean, there were some definite highlights such as "Star City 2046," sure, but more often than not, I was just watching to keep up with the Arrowverse as a whole - and also because it's kind of part of my job.
As of late, The CW have been revealing many puzzle pieces making up the next major Arrowverse crossover – it’s just that we have no idea of how they fit. All we can do is hope that an official plot synopsis is disclosed soon enough because all we can tell is that whatever’s planned will be huge and likely badass.
If you required more proof of Hollywood being a strange place, one need not look any further than the confusion surrounding the Child’s Play franchise.
With Supernatural set to commence its fourteenth season in just under three weeks, you could say it's high time that The CW begin giving us some promo material. Really, this summer has yielded a veritable drought for fans of the long-running horror series in that regard, so it's good to see some stuff finally hitting the web.
Contrary to whatever hatred the naysayers have to spew, I’m still very much looking forward Venom because everything I’ve seen pertaining to it is so badass. The iconic logo may be absent from the titular anti-hero’s chest, sure, but I’m positive that I can work past the omission. After all, Dolph Lundgren didn’t rock the skull in 1989’s The Punisher, yet I’m able to appreciate that offering as a decent 80’s action film.
After witnessing how Black Lightning kicked all kinds of butt with its first season (you can check out our review for the Blu-ray set here), you'd better believe that I'm right there with the rest of you who can't wait to see what the DC series' sophomore year has in store.
After waiting for what felt like an eternity, The CW have finally released a trailer for Supernatural season 14. Granted, some footage was shown to those fortunate enough to have attended San Diego Comic-Con this past July, but the rest of the planet has been left in the dark.
Having already treated us to a new trailer and promotional poster this month, it looks as though The CW aren’t through spoiling us with goodies pertaining to The Flash‘s fifth season. This time, they deliver with quite the intriguing synopsis hyping the premiere episode, which has been appropriately titled “Nora.”

Even if some of their films haven’t been your cup of tea, none of us can deny the force in the industry that Blumhouse Productions has become. In the past decade or so, they’ve enthralled audiences with new franchises such as Paranormal Activity, Insidious, Ouija, The Purge and, my personal favorite, Sinister, to name but a few. Not only that, but they've managed to add the beloved Halloween series to their pantheon - and with a kick-ass score from John Carpenter to boot.
