A new TV spot has been released for WWE 2K16 which puts the spotlight on a number of fan-favourite WWE Superstars meeting around a campfire to confront their demons. That includes Stone Cold Steve Austin looking back on his battles with Mankind, while current WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins reflects on his lucky escape earlier this year from Brock Lesnar.
Take one look at the trailer for Suicide Squad or Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and it's easy to see that Warner Bros. and DC are going for a darker superhero universe, one that's more grounded in reality and not as comical. And for most people, that's going to be a very, very refreshing change from what Marvel is doing, and has been doing for years now.
Last night's episode of Gotham introduced a female version of Firefly, a classic Batman villain who has already suited up years before Bruce Wayne dons the cape and cowl. The fact that the series is introducing so many characters like this before Batman appears has annoyed some, but Gotham does so far appear to be taking the character in an interesting direction if last night's episode was anything to go by.
After setting the Internet ablaze with only two teaser trailers and a blink-and-you'll-miss-it Instagram video, Disney and Lucasfilm have now unveiled the full trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Jon Watts received positive reviews for Cop Car, but so too did Marc Webb for (500) Days of Summer before he tackled The Amazing Spider-Man franchise with mixed results. The point is, Marvel has taken a big risk in hiring a similar type of filmmaker for their 2017 reboot, especially as many fans expected them to turn to someone with more experience in order to get this take on the wall-crawler right.
While the official synopsis for this episode of The Flash mentions only Captain Cold and the return of his father to Central City, the first clip from "Family of Rogues" confirms that the show will still be spending some time focusing on the mysteries of Earth-2. That's where Jay Garrick hails from, and as you can see, Barry and the rest of team Flash have now made it their mission to both help him return and solve the mystery of Zoom.
ABC and Marvel have today released the official synopsis for the sixth episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s third season, and it offers up a very intriguing hint about what's to come in the series. The focus of the show this year is the Inhumans, but it appears as if "Among Us Hide..." is going to put the spotlight on some classic S.H.I.E.L.D. baddies: HYDRA.
With minor roles in Ant-Man and Jurassic World this year, it's fair to say that Judy Greer might just be one of the most under-appreciated actresses in Hollywood right now. Of course, while she was hard to miss in those films, you'd be forgiven for not realizing that she also showed up in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes last year.
So far, Lash has only been glimpsed in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., but ABC and Marvel have today released some hi-res images which give us our first proper look at the Inhuman villain in all his mutated glory. After taking aim at Daisy/Quake and Lincoln in the season three premiere, Lash is set to return in this Tuesday's episode.
