Marvel fans around the world have been waiting for years now to see characters like the X-Men and Fantastic Four enter the MCU. It would be a dream come true for a lot of people and would result in an absolutely epic team-up film, one which would no doubt destroy the box office. So, why hasn't it happened yet? The answer, as frustrating as it may seem, is actually quite simple. It comes down to rights.
You might know Lin-Manuel Miranda from Broadway's Hamilton, which is one of the hottest shows out there right now, but the actor is also looking to make his way into the world of film. He appears to be quite busy, too. After signing on for Disney's Marry Poppins sequel, not to mention also working on the music for their Little Mermaid remake and cooking up a secret project with Zootopia co-director Byron Howard, he's now revealed his desire to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Suicide Squad received a mixed response from both fans and critics alike, but one of the biggest complaints came in regards to Jared Leto's Joker. Some loved the Academy Award winning actor's take on the Clown Prince of Crime and others hated it, but pretty much everyone agreed that Warner Bros. butchered his performance in the editing room.

A few weeks ago in Legends of Tomorrow, Professor Stein and Jax (who come together to form Firestorm) discovered a message from 2056 which had been left for Rip Hunter by The Flash. The contents of it weren't fully revealed, but we do know that he was warning the time traveller about some sort of war which takes place in the future.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is arriving on December 16th, and Disney wants to make sure you know it. The studio has been on a marketing frenzy over the past few weeks, bombarding us with promos, TV spots, photos, posters and more. When Marvel first announced that they'd be bringing The Inhumans to television, it caught everyone by surprise. Mostly because the characters were supposed to be getting their own film during Phase 4 of the MCU. Admittedly, news on the project had been non-existent for a while and with Inhumans starting to show up on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., fans suspected that plans for a feature film had been scrapped.
Warner Bros. has some very exciting films coming up in their DC Extended Universe. 2017 alone will see two major releases in the form of Wonder Woman and Justice League, both of which have a lot riding on them. After all, the studio stumbled out of the gate with Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad, and though the former is now becoming something of a cult classic, and the latter recently released an Extended Cut to repair its image, neither film can be classified as a definite win for WB.
