Spider-Man: Far From Home Runtime Officially Revealed

With Spider-Man: Far From Home set to hit theaters in exactly one week, fans have already begun to nail down their plans, text their moviegoing buddies, and book their seats well ahead of time. While there are other films that have caught everyone’s attention as of late – including the re-release of Avengers: Endgame – Marvel fans have been anxiously waiting to see how the latest MCU flick will pave the way for Phase 4. With a few key characters having departed for good, it’ll definitely be interesting to find out how everyone’s carrying on after the effects of Thanos’ snap were undone.

If you took issue with Endgame‘s lengthy runtime though, you’ll be glad to hear that Far From Home comes in at a much shorter mark. As noted by Heroic Hollywood, the British Board of Film Classification has revealed that Marvel’s latest will run for approximately 129 minutes. This puts it just below Homecoming, and right smack dab in the middle of the rest of the MCU pack.

For comparison, we’ve compiled all of the franchise’s runtimes below:

  • Avengers: Endgame – 3 hours 2 minutes
  • Avengers: Infinity War – 2 hours 40 minutes
  • Captain America: Civil War – 2 hours 27 minutes
  • The Avengers – 2 hours 23 minutes
  • Avengers: Age of Ultron – 2 hours 21 minutes
  • Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2. – 2 hours 16 minutes
  • Captain America: The Winter Soldier – 2 hours 16 minutes
  • Black Panther – 2 hours 14 minutes
  • Spider-Man: Homecoming – 2 hours 13 minutes
  • Iron Man 3 – 2 hours 11 minutes
  • Thor: Ragnarok – 2 hours 10 minutes
  • Spider-Man: Far From Home 2 hours 9 minutes
  • Iron Man – 2 hours 6 minutes
  • Captain Marvel – 2 hours 5 minutes
  • Ant-Man and the Wasp – 2 hours 5 minutes
  • Iron Man 2 – 2 hours 5 minutes
  • Captain America: The First Avenger – 2 hours 4 minutes
  • Guardians of the Galaxy – 2 hours 2 minutes
  • Ant-Man – 1 hour 57 minutes
  • Doctor Strange – 1 hour 55 minutes
  • Thor – 1 hour 54 minutes
  • Thor: The Dark World – 1 hour 52 minutes
  • Incredible Hulk – 1 hour 52 minutes

While these times do account for the end credits, Marvel has a tendency to include bonus scenes during these segments, so plenty of moviegoers usually stick around until the projector stops rolling. It looks like Spider-Man: Far From Home will include two of these scenes, too, so you should definitely stay seated if you plan on catching it in theaters when it arrives early next month, on July 2nd.
