Legends Of Tomorrow Cast Celebrates Wrapping Production On Season 3

As someone who was rather critical of Legends of Tomorrow for its first two seasons, I must give credit where credit is due by saying that not only is its third the best yet, but I also find it to be one of the better DC TV shows this year. Really, it's found the right balance between drama and humor, embraced the richness of the source material more than ever before, and made some fine additions to the Waverider such as John Constantine and the incoming Kid Flash.

So, while we wait to see how the gang will stop the formidable threat that is Mallus, it’s come to our attention that production has actually wrapped on season 3. Showing that camaraderie doesn’t end when cameras stop rolling, though, Caity Lotz (Sara Lance/White Canary) recently posted a couple pics on Twitter letting us know that she’s still having much fun with co-stars Maisie Richardson-Sellers (Amaya Jiwe/Vixen) and Tala Ashe (Zari Tomaz), playing pinball and exploring what are most likely the streets of Vancouver.

If you’re at all confused, we implore you to remember that Legends of Tomorrow tends to enjoy shorter seasons than its Arrowverse brethren, this time keeping that tradition by airing its season finale on April 9, with the rest of the pack not finishing out their current runs until May or June. That said, it all lies in the hands of the editors and the visual effects department at this point.

Truth be told, the door is still open for any of these characters to do guest shots on either Supergirl, The Flash or Arrow, but we’re not saying it’s an absolute certainty. Already, Lotz is asking her fans on Twitter what color she should dye her hair – something she tends to do in the off-season – so we’re guessing she may be ready to enjoy a few months worth of vacation and venturing out to conventions.

Legends of Tomorrow airs on Monday nights on The CW.
