In August Warner Bros. will be releasing a wave of crime films for the first time on Blu-Ray.

The studio will be releasing a respectable batch of “crime” films on Blu-Ray this August. For the first time ever these titles will be available to own in high-def. 1080p video transfers and 5.1 or 7.1 lossless audio tracks should accompany each title. Here’s a full list of the announced films:

  • Cradle 2 the Grave
  • Fallen
  • A Man Apart
  • New Jack City
  • Romeo Must Die
  • Shaft

Personally, I’m looking forward to Cradle 2 the Grave and A Man Apart. The two are guilty pleasures of mine and they’re films that I wouldn’t mind purchasing for the low price of $13.99 (currently on Amazon).

Which title/titles will you be picking up on August 14th? Let us know in the comments.

I'm an avid watcher of films and I just love discussing and sharing them with the world. I enjoy horror, sci-fi and mostly any genre under the sun, plus I have a slight obsession with Blu-ray's and the whole high definition craze.
