Paramount has announced that the complete Indiana Jones collection will be coming to Blu-Ray later this year. Steven Spielberg‘s classic series starring Harrison Ford has been a most-wanted Blu-Ray for fans since the format launched.
The announcement of the set brings both good and bad news. The good news is obviously the announcement of all of the titles coming to the high def format, but the bad news is that those who already own or were avoiding the disappointing Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull will have to purchase it again, as part of the set. No single release for any of the films have been announced, which means you’ll likely have to pay the set price up front if you want to own these titles.
The set will contain all four films, as listed below.
- Raiders of the Lost Ark
- Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
- Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
- Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
Special features haven’t been announced, but Paramount has said that the set will feature the highest possible video and audio presentations along with a “best of” collection of special features.
Expect the complete Indiana Jones collection sometime this fall.
