The Woman In Black Coming To Blu-Ray In May

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe followed his successful run as the lead in a billion dollar franchise with the horror film The Woman in Black. Sony has announced the horror film The Woman in Black, starring Daniel Radcliffe, for Blu-Ray this May.

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe followed his successful run as the lead in a billion dollar franchise with the horror film The Woman in Black. The film though atmospheric, struggled to recoup from its disappointing third act. The direction was solid and Radcliffe held his own very well when performing alongside Ciaran Hinds, but creepy shadows and ghostly images can only hold the tension for so long.

Our very own Kristal Cooper had this to say about the film in her review:

Whether or not The Woman in Black provides those chills is entirely up to whatever particular type of creep-out sends shivers down your spine.

The Blu-Ray/UltraViolet combo pack will be presented in 1080p with a 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio track. The following bonus content has been confirmed:

  • Commentary with director James Watkins and screenwriter Jane Goldman
  • 2 Behind-the-scenes featurettes

The Woman in Black will be available for purchase on May 22nd, 2012.
