Magnolia Pictures is planning to release Bobcat Goldthwait's latest dark offspring God Bless America on Blu-Ray this summer. The film, starring Joel Murray and Tara Lynne Barr, follows a crazed individual who decides to shoot up some assholes after losing his job and becoming terminally ill.

Bobcat Goldthwait‘s dark comedy God Bless America is coming to Blu-Ray in July.

Magnolia Pictures is planning to release Bobcat Goldthwait‘s latest dark offspring God Bless America on Blu-Ray this summer. The film, starring Joel Murray and Tara Lynne Barr, follows a crazed individual who decides to shoot up some assholes after losing his job and becoming terminally ill.

Bobcat is no stranger to extremely dark and unsettling comedy, previously directing Robin Williams in World’s Greatest Dad. I tend to really enjoy his sense of humor, but most find it to be a bit too much.

The film is currently available on VOD and in theaters in some markets. Reviews for the most part have ranged from good to excellent, with not too much negative press.

No special features or tech specs have been announced yet, but I’m sure we’ll find out more as we inch closer to release.

God Bless America will street on July 3rd, 2012.
