Fox Will Bring The Three Stooges To Blu-Ray In July

Fox has announced the latest adaptation of The Three Stooges for Blu-Ray in July.

The Three Stooges is a specific brand of comedy that has been making people laugh for ages. I didn’t mind some of the older stuff, but this latest film is more or less another cash grab on a popular name. The film stars Will Sasso, Chris Diamantopoulos and Sean Hayes as the titular Stooges and while they play the characters effectively, the film overall isn’t nearly as funny as some of the older Stooges gags.

The film did manage to scrape up some dough at the box office, which means we shouldn’t be overly surprised when Fox gives the sequel a go-ahead.

The Blu-Ray/DVD/Digital Copy combo pack will be presented in 1080p with a 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio track. Here’s a list of special materials included on the disc:

The Three Stooges will be available to own on July 17th, 2012.
