Get The Gringo Coming To Blu-Ray In July

Mel Gibson has been having a bit of trouble lately trying to release films. Instead of laying low and waiting for his publicity stunts to blow over he's decided to star in the controversially titled Get the Gringo. It looks like another over-the-top action role that just might be his ticket out of the dog house.

Fox has announced the Mel Gibson starring film Get the Gringo for Blu-Ray in July.

Mel Gibson has been having a bit of trouble lately trying to release films. Instead of laying low and waiting for his publicity stunts to blow over he’s decided to star in the controversially titled Get the Gringo. It looks like another over-the-top action role that just might be his ticket out of the dog house.

The film didn’t even get a real theatrical release, which leaves little concerns, but I’m still completely on board because the trailer is just the right amount of silly and bad ass.

Our very own Alan Diment had this to say about the film in his review:

Get The Gringo is a passable addition to the action genre but it might have been better had the need to keep Gibson’s fan base happy not been so pressing.

Get the Gringo will come to Blu-Ray in a Blu-Ray/DVD/Digital Copy combo pack and it will be presented in 1080p with a 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio track. Here’s a list of confirmed special features:
