The Dark Knight Rises is primed to become a movie watched and debated for years to come. While its box-office performance was a bit of a disappointment in light of the its record-setting counterpart in the superhero genre, The Avengers, it’s still safe to assume that many a die-hard came back for repeat viewings.

Soon, those same die-hards will be able to re-watch The Dark Knight Rises as Batman-News points out, the release date for the DVD and Blu-Ray of the last movie in Christopher Nolan‘s Batman trilogy can be found in a newly posted trailer on Warner Bros. Entertainment’s official YouTube channel. That date is December 3, meaning it will be found underneath many a Christmas tree this holiday season.

No doubt it’ll be one of Christmas’s hottest sellers, with fans eager to complete their trilogy and enjoy it in its entirety. So remember, that’s December 3 for the official release of The Dark Knight Rises on DVD and Blu-Ray.
