Welcome to We Got This Covered’s Deals of the Day. In this brand new column, we’ll be scouring the web in order to bring you hot deals on Blu-Rays and video games. Today, we’re featuring Star Wars, as Amazon is running some pretty good deals on all six films in the saga. Check out the details below.
1) Star Wars: The Original Trilogy (Episodes IV – VI)
With Star Wars: Episode VII currently in the works, why not re-visit the original trilogy that started it all? Marked down 53% and selling for $32.99, the Star Wars: The Original Trilogy Blu-Ray box set is an excellent purchase for any fan of George Lucas’ classic sci-fi films. Included here is Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi.

If you’re a Star Wars fan, which I’m assuming you are because, well, who isn’t, then there’s no way that you can possibly refuse this deal, unless you already own all these films on Blu-Ray. To this day, the Original Trilogy stands as some of the best sci-fi material, ever and there is no reason that this box set shouldn’t be in your collection. Especially considering the fact that it’s selling for 53% off this week!
2) Star Wars: The Prequel Trilogy (Episodes I – III)
Here we have the Prequel Trilogy box set, which is the same as the box set above except that it includes the prequel films which are, admittedly, nowhere near as good as the originals. Included here is Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones and Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. Each film has its moments but yes, we know that as a whole, the Prequel Trilogy is a bit of a joke and angered many, many Star Wars fans. We won’t blame you for skipping out on this one but it’s still a good deal as the 53% discount brings it down to $32.99, which is an awesome price for three films.
3) Star Wars: The Complete Saga (Episodes I-VI)
Here it is, the Complete Saga. All six Star Wars films in one fantastic box set that includes a wealth of bonus materials, all for only $88.95, a 35% discount. I actually just purchased this today myself, as I don’t own any of the Star Wars films on Blu-Ray. Sure, I’ve seen them all but this is one of those sets that is a must own and simply put, no Blu-Ray collection is complete without it. All six films on Blu-Ray, plus tons of special features, all for under $100? There is no way I was missing out on this one.
