Ridley Scott knows his way around a good sci-fi tale, and that’s something he proves once again with The Martian, the 2015 thriller starring Matt Damon, Jessica Chastain, Kate Mara, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Jeff Bridges, among others.
Based on Andy Weir’s novel of the same name, it tells the story of Damon’s Mark Watney, an astronaut who is accidentally left for dead on Mars by his team and forced to find a way to survive until NASA can figure out how to bring him home.
Full of heart, humor, brains and some excellent acting, The Martian was one of our favorite films of last year, which is why we’re happy to announce that we’ve got a Blu-Ray copy to give out to one lucky reader.
