The Man Without Fear is finally bound for Blu-ray in North America, almost two years since he first crept out of the shadows and onto the streets of Hell’s Kitchen.
That’s right, Daredevil: The Complete First Season is now on course to release on November 8, following up on its arrival for those in the UK. The only catch is that this is simply the Blu-ray launch (read: no DVD version as yet) and at press time, neither Marvel nor Disney has detailed the special features included in the bundle – providing there are any special features to speak of, that is. We’ll keep you posted on that front as we inch closer to release.
Moreover, while those across the pond were able to nab a special steelbook featuring Daredevil artwork sketched by the esteemed Joe Quesada, only the standard cover art – cover art that you can go up close and personal with below – has been confirmed for NA.
News of Daredevil‘s long-anticipated Blu-ray release comes at a very exciting time for the Marvel TV universe; over the weekend, not only did we get a new glimpse of Iron Fist in action, but it was also announced that the illustrious Sigourney Weaver would be taking point as the villain of The Defenders series. Speaking of which, if the Man Without Fear is getting his own Blu-ray release, depending on sales, we imagine that all four members of the superpowered ensemble – Luke Cage and Jessica Jones included – will hit home video in due time.
