Following an unprecedented theatrical run, Avengers: Infinity War is scheduled to turn a portion of your weekly paycheck into dust on August 14th. Following an unprecedented theatrical run, Avengers: Infinity War is scheduled to turn a portion of your weekly paycheck into dust on August 14th. Or July 31st digitally, if you’re one of those people incapable of waiting, like me. That’s right, an advertisement showcasing the glorious outer packaging – which you can check out below – has surfaced online. And although some forty-odd Marvel heroes, villains and characters appear in Avengers: Infinity War, sadly, it does look as if Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment just couldn’t fit them all on the 135 mm by 171.5 mm box, but all the major players are still there.

Standard format not your cup of tea? Well, you’re in luck. Earlier this year, Best Buy and Target revealed the first look at their Avengers: Infinity War exclusives, which include a gorgeous Steelbook and Funko Pop gift set, respectively. And as we get closer to the street date, I’m sure that even more retailer exclusives will pop up.

Having grossed an exceptional $2 billion-plus at the worldwide box office, Avengers: Infinity War will soon see Thanos (Josh Brolin) invade your living space, and supposedly, Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and Ultron (James Spader) will be joining him. That’s because last month, a foreign correspondent seemingly confirmed that Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has The Avengers and Age of Ultron headed for a 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray release on August 14th, which is, coincidentally, the same day that the third supergroup feature is slated to hit home video.

Will you be picking up the entire trilogy though, or just Earth’s Mightiest Heroes’ latest big screen adventure? As always, be sure to let us know by dropping a comment in the usual place.
