Battle royale is arguably the most popular genre in gaming right now, and Apex Legends has reigned among the top dogs since its launch in February of last year. There isn't a ton of information available about Capcom's next entry in their long-running survival horror series, Resident Evil. What is known for certain, however, is that Resident Evil 8 is certainly coming, and the question simply remains a matter of when we're going to see what it's all about.
It's been a somber but eventful week in the United States. On May 25th, 2020, George Floyd was killed after a Minneapolis officer held a knee on his neck for about 9 minutes despite consistent pleas to allow him to breath. Netflix has been doing a fantastic job at keeping everyone occupied and happy during the long and exhausting quarantining and isolation many of us have had to deal with since the beginning of the current pandemic. Still, within a 12-month period, most gamers are sure to receive at least a handful of titles they'll enjoy, making the service well worth the price of admission.

Now, as some of them attempt to reopen, especially in the United States, they're doing so cautiously with plenty of social distancing and protection requirements in place to keep both their employees and customers safe.

Police responded to a shopkeeper's phone call regarding someone attempting to use a counterfeit bill at his establishment. Upon arrival, they placed Floyd under arrest before one officer pinned him to the ground with his knee across his neck for seven full minutes. Despite his consistent insistence that he couldn't breathe and onlookers pleading with the officer, the situation resulted in the completely unnecessary and avoidable death of Floyd.
