Loki Easter Egg Introduces The MCU’s First Thor Variant
In an episode filled with Loki variants, Marvel's Loki TV series just introduced the MCU's first Thor variant in a blink-and-you'll-miss-it easter egg. Episode 5 saw Tom Hiddleston's trickster trapped in The Void, a realm at the end of time where those pruned by the TVA end up. He encountered many other Gods of Mischief while there, but he was left unaware that there was a wild variant of his brother, the God of Thunder, in the vicinity, too.

The Acolyte May Feature The Star Wars Saga’s First LGBTQ Leads
The Star Wars universe has been greatly diversified since Disney relaunched it, but one thing fans are still waiting on is for some proper LGBTQ representation. So far, there's been one brief same-sex kiss between two minor characters in The Rise of Skywalker and that's it. It looks like things may change in the future, though, as the franchise expands in the medium of TV on Disney Plus. In particular, The Acolyte could be the show that gives us Star Wars' first ever queer lead characters.

The Marvels Will Reportedly Feature A Surprise Villain
Brie Larson's Carol Danvers will be getting some new partners in The Marvels, also known as Captain Marvel 2, in the form of two of the MCU's freshest heroines. Teyonah Parris' Monica Rambeau AKA Photon we already met in WandaVision and Iman Vellani's Kamala Khan will soon be introduced in Ms. Marvel. We don't know what causes these three superpowered women to get together, but it looks like the trio will have their work cut out for them, going by the latest intel.

Space Jam: A New Legacy promises to be a much bigger movie than its predecessor, 1996's Space Jam. While that flick pioneered the left-field idea of pairing up the Looney Tunes with a basketball star (Michael Jordan). New Legacy will pair up the Looney Tunes with a basketball star (LeBron James) - and then have them collide with the whole Warner Bros. catalog. Dave Bautista Urges James Gunn To Give Drax Some Clothes
When the Guardians of the Galaxy were introduced into the MCU way back in 2014, director James Gunn used the relative obscurity of the characters to completely reinvent them for the screen, altering everything from their personalities to their visual designs. Drax the Destroyer, for instance, had grey skin and intricate tattoos covering his torso instead of his Hulk-like look in the comics. As played by Dave Bautista, the character became a firm fan favorite.

Robert Pattinson Reportedly Pushing To Make The Batman 2 Even Darker
All we've seen of The Batman so far is one two-minute trailer that debuted just over a year ago, with DC not giving us any more content since due to the Matt Reeves' movie being delayed into 2022. Thankfully, that trailer did a terrific job of conveying the tone of the film, promising that fans can expect a gritty, grounded take on the Dark Knight's universe that'll have more in common with a detective thriller than a typical superhero blockbuster.
