The Skywalker Saga may be over, but we may not have seen the last of the last Skywalker. Episode IX left Rey's story in an open-ended way, with it unclear what was next for the young Jedi now that her enemy/lover Kylo Ren was dead and peace had once again fallen over the galaxy. There have been various rumors over the past couple of years, then, pointing to Lucasfilm cooking up some future project that would bring Daisy Ridley back to the Star Wars saga.

Dave Bautista Says Marvel Dropped The Ball On Drax’s Character Arc
Dave Bautista has never shied away from sharing what he really thinks. When James Gunn was temporarily fired from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, the star blasted Marvel over the decision and said he'd break his contract if they didn't bring him back. Since Gunn was eventually rehired, the former WWE legend has been on smoother ground with the studio, but Bautista has now opened up about his mixed feelings about the evolution of Drax the Destroyer, revealing that he thinks Marvel dropped the ball with the character.

It feels like Brie Larson is just starting her career as Captain Marvel, but a new report claims that the studio is already lining up her replacement. Though the Oscar-winning actress was cast way back in 2016, Larson has only played Carol Danvers twice to date and her next scheduled appearance is The Marvels, AKA Captain Marvel 2, which will pair her up with both Teyonah Parris' Monica Rambeau and Iman Vellani's Ms. Marvel.

Sherlock And Enola Will Reportedly Work More Closely Together In Enola Holmes 2
Enola Holmes was one of Netflix's biggest movies of 2020. Though it was at one point set to be theatrically released by Warner Bros., the streaming giant ultimately snapped up the rights following the pandemic, which proved to be a smart move on their part. Not least because it may have given them a brand new franchise, as all the signs are pointing to Enola Holmes 2 being in the works.

Captain America 4 Will Reportedly Include Flashbacks To Peggy’s Time
Captain America 4 is coming. Despite Anthony Mackie's attempts to downplay the news, evidence suggests that he'll be getting his own movie following Sam Wilson stepping up as the new Cap in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. And seeing as the film is being written by Falcon scribes Malcolm Spellman and Dalan Musson, it seems we can expect it to pick up a lot of threads from the hit Disney Plus show.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage Trailer Teased Doctor Strange 2’s Villain
Marvel fans went wild over the Venom: Let There Be Carnage trailer that dropped yesterday, with it generating a lot of hype thanks to our first glimpse at Woody Harrelson's Cletus Kasady. But as well as showcasing that iconic comic book villain, it also appears to have given a name-check to another major antagonist who's making their way to the screen soon - Nightmare, with the big bad expected to star in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Disney Plus Is Adding A Forgotten Marvel Movie This Week
Disney Plus is adding yet another Fox Marvel movie this week. The Mouse House's streaming service already introduced Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer to its library earlier this month and now a second is following suit. On Friday, May 14th, 2006's X-Men: The Last Stand finds its way onto D+ in the United States. It's not exactly the best that the X-Men franchise had to offer, but those who want a complete collection of Marvel Legacy - as Disney wants us to call them - films on the platform should be pleased about it becoming available.

Enola Holmes 2 Could Complicate Henry Cavill’s Superman Return
Netflix's plans for Enola Holmes 2 could complicate the potential for Henry Cavill to return to the DCEU as Superman. Superhero fans are desperate for the British star to suit up as the Man of Steel again, despite Warner Bros. moving forward with a reboot of the Last Son of Krypton. Cavill is not yet completely done with the franchise, though, there exists the possibility that he and the studio could make a new deal. However, the time is running out for WB if they do want to lock him down as the actor is about to get a lot busier.

#GinaGoneWild Trends As Gina Carano Makes Her TV Return
After Lucasfilm dumped her from the Star Wars franchise in February, Gina Carano hit back against the studio on social media, stating that she wouldn't let herself be cancelled. Less than three months later, the actress has now made a big TV comeback, with her episode of Running Wild With Bear Grylls airing on the Disney-owned National Geographic network. The installment went down well on Twitter, too, with the star becoming one of the top trends on the site - for all the right reasons for once.
