Christian Bale Reportedly In Talks To Return As Batman
Christian Bale will be returning to the superhero genre for Marvel's Thor: Love and Thunder, but it's possible he's having such a good time shooting that movie that he's considering coming back as Batman for DC, too. Bale portrayed Bruce Wayne across Christopher Nolan's acclaimed Dark Knight trilogy, with it seeming unlikely we'd ever see him play the part again once the DCEU got started. But a certain upcoming DC film will dive into the multiverse in a big way, allowing the possibility for him to suit up.

Tobey Maguire might be returning for another solo movie as Spider-Man. That's the big new rumor that's been swirling around recently. Sony is said to be looking to get the star back as his Peter Parker for a new film helmed by Sam Raimi and while this isn't something that's officially happening yet, intel points to the studio being very keen to do it. Especially as they're going all in on the potential of the Spider-Verse moving forward.

Regé-Jean Page broke the hearts of millions of Netflix users across the globe when it was revealed earlier this month that he wouldn't be back for Bridgerton season 2. After 2016's Ghostbusters reboot failed to match the widespread popularity of the original, 2021's Ghostbusters: Afterlife is going all in on the nostalgia in an attempt to recapture the magic of the 80s classic. With Jason - son of original director Ivan - Reitman at the helm, and the universally beloved Paul Rudd in the lead, hopefully it'll succeed. And though we still have a while to go before we find out of it's a hit or a flop, it seems they're definitely onto a winner with the adorable new critters introduced in this first clip from the movie.
