WB Reportedly Wants Michael B. Jordan To Lead Superman Reboot
The biggest news in the superhero world today is the announcement that Warner Bros. is working on a Superman reboot, as produced by J.J. Abrams and written by Marvel Comics scribe Ta-Nehisi Coates. After the initial story broke, further intel has come out that Henry Cavill won't return for the production and that the studio intends for the reboot to star a person of color as the Last Son of Krypton. And it seems they have a specific actor in mind.

Henry Cavill Is Reportedly Done As The DCEU’s Superman
It's been rumored for the longest time, but it looks like it's now coming true. Following his major exclusive deal with Warner Bros., J.J. Abrams is producing a Superman reboot for DC, with Marvel Comics writer Ta-Nehisi Coates providing the script. The term "reboot" immediately suggests Henry Cavill will be replaced as the Man of Steel and while a recasting wasn't outright stated in the original scoop by The Hollywood Reporter, additional intel is pointing to just that being the case.

Amber Heard Rumored To Have Been Fired From Aquaman 2 For Contract Breach
Another day, another rumor calling Amber Heard's DCEU future into question. There's been much discussion about whether Warner Bros. will stick by the actress in the long-term after all the bad press that her ongoing legal battles with ex Johnny Depp has wrought, but to date, Heard is still officially expected to reprise her role as Mera in Aquaman 2. The latest reports, however, are claiming that WB has fired her over a breach of contract.

Robert Downey Jr. Reportedly Eyed To Lead New Netflix Heist Thriller
Robert Downey Jr. could be about to team up with Netflix for a major new movie. The Iron Man star has so far only featured in one production since he exited the Marvel universe in Avengers: Endgame and that was last year's atrocious Dolittle, so he needs his next project to be a hit. And maybe he'll find it in one of the streaming giant's hottest upcoming films, a bank heist thriller from writer/producer Simon Kinberg titled Here Comes The Flood.

WandaVision Fans Freaking Out Over The Big Scarlet Witch Moment
In an earlier episode of WandaVision, it was established that Wanda Maximoff didn't have a superhero codename like her fellow Avengers, which seemed to promise that we would be getting an epic moment where she was finally crowned the Scarlet Witch later in the show. Disney Plus Added 15 New Movies/TV Shows Today
It's the final Friday of February and Disney Plus has decided to see off the month in style with one of its biggest hauls of the last few weeks. There are a ton of new titles - 15 if you count single seasons individually or 12 if you don't - going up on the Mouse House's streaming platform today. Unusually, there are no movies among them, bar a short film, but the bevy of fresh TV content offers a range of entertainment to get you through the weekend whatever your tastes.
