Former Doctor Who Showrunner Thinks It Should Become An MCU-Style Franchise
Former Doctor Who showrunner Russell T. Davies has called for The BBC to franchise out the sci-fi show with multiple spinoffs, like we're seeing with Marvel and Star Wars on Disney Plus and Star Trek on CBS All Access. During Davies' era - from 2005-10 - the series produced two successful spinoffs, the adult-oriented Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures, for younger audiences. Since then, however - barring 2016's swiftly-cancelled Class - the mainline series is all we've had.

Han Solo And Qi’ra Will Reportedly Appear In The Mandalorian Universe
We're coming up to three years now since the release of Solo: A Star Wars Story and we've still yet to see any kind of sequel project materialize. There is a Lando TV series in development, though we don't know whether it'll feature Donald Glover or Billy Dee Williams (or maybe both). Given its disappointing box office haul, then, the best bet for more of young Han is a return on Disney Plus, and one might be might on the horizon in The Mandalorian corner of the saga.

Enola Holmes 2 Might Feature Moriarty As Its Main Villain
Enola Holmes proved to be a massive hit when it debuted on Netflix last September, and that's probably not surprising given the perennial popularity of the Sherlock Holmes IP. Millie Bobby Brown starred as the eponymous little sister of the Great Detective, with Henry Cavill in a supporting role as Sherlock himself. As Cavill played a younger Holmes than usual, though, there's much room for expanding the mythos in the planned sequels.

Michael Dorn Says No Contact’s Been Made About Star Trek: Picard Return
For anyone waiting to see more of Worf, we have some bad news. Michael Dorn has confirmed that first contact has yet to be made when it comes to the prospect of him donning the Klingon makeup again for Star Trek: Picard. Season 1 of Sir Patrick Stewart's big return to the franchise brought back Jonathan Frakes and Marina Sirtis alongside him, reprising their roles as Riker and Troi, with the promise that the next run would follow that up with even more familiar faces.

Marvel’s Reportedly Desperate To Get Nic Cage Back As Ghost Rider
Marvel Studios is reportedly desperate to bring Nicolas Cage back into the fold as Ghost Rider roughly a decade after he last played the Spirit of Vengeance. With 2007's Ghost Rider coming out just ahead of Iron Man and 2012's sequel dropping the same year as The Avengers, Sony's films were both compared unfavorably with their MCU rivals at the time. Now, however, it seems that Cage could join the Marvel Cinematic Universe himself as Johnny Blaze.

Lucasfilm Replaces Cara Dune With Ahsoka Tano In The Mandalorian Artwork
Lucasfilm apparently request that Cara Dune be removed from a piece of The Mandalorian promotional artwork and replaced with Ahsoka Tano. Gina Carano's kickass character was a huge hit with Star Wars after the first season of the Disney Plus series, but reaction to her soured after Carano started causing widespread controversy on social media. There's been speculation this could lead to a reduced role for the actress in season 3. While that's far from confirmed, this recent incident does add fuel to the flames.
