The Mandalorian season 2 has finally resurrected Boba Fett, meaning that his weak ending in Return of the Jedi is no longer canon. In a great bit of casting, Prequel Trilogy star Temuera Morrison was hired to play the iconic bounty hunter, following on from his role as Boba's father Jango Fett and voicing him in the video games and special editions of the Original Trilogy. And now, the actor has opened up about what a pleasant surprise it was to be asked back to the Star Wars saga.

Boba Fett Gets His Own Awesome Mandalorian Season 2 Poster
Boba Fett retuned to the Star Wars universe this season on The Mandalorian, which finally confirmed that the iconic bounty hunter did not die that underwhelming death in Return of the Jedi, after all. In the premiere, we received our first glimpse of Temuera Morrison as an older Boba, sans armor, and in last week's episode, "Chapter 14: The Tragedy," the survivor of the Sarlaac Pit finally got his classic suit back and reminded us all of how badass he is. And, in return, he's now received his own character poster.

Watch: Robert Downey Jr. And Don Cheadle Honor Chadwick Boseman At MTV Awards
The 2020 MTV Movie & TV Awards were belatedly held this Sunday, and the ceremony took the time to honor one of the most missed actors that we've lost this year. Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman, who passed away a few months ago after a private battle with cancer, was posthumously given the Hero for the Ages award. And to mark the tribute, his Marvel co-stars Robert Downey Jr. and Don Cheadle paid their respects to him in a moving speech.
