There's no way around it, the past month has been a disastrous one for Johnny Depp. First, the verdict in his lengthy UK libel case against British tabloid The Sun, for labelling him a "wife beater" over accusations of domestic abuse made by his ex-wife Amber Heard, ended up not being in his favor. This ruling then led to Warner Bros. requesting that the actor step aside from his role as Grindelwald in their Fantastic Beasts franchise.

Scream 5 Set Photos Reveal A Key Location From The Original Movie
A major location from the original movie will be returning in the Scream reboot. It was officially announced today that filming on the next installment in the horror franchise has completed, with it likewise revealed that the project is not called Scream 5 like we thought, but will go by the simplified title Scream. That makes it clear that the pic is returning to basics and will be harking back to the 1996 effort that started it all. And one way in which it'll do that may have been accidentally revealed.

Scream 5 Will Make A Major Change To The Franchise
When Scream first arrived in 1996, it became one of the most popular horror movies of the decade, offering a complete revitalization of the genre. Much of that was to do with its self-aware nature and tongue in cheek comedy, which helped it appeal to an audience outside of hardcore horror fans. Due to its success, the franchise doubled down on the meta humor in the next three sequels, but don't expect that to continue in 2022's reboot.

Titans’ Joker Will Reportedly Kill Off [SPOILERS] In Season 3
Titans has managed to craft an expansive DC universe over its first two seasons, bringing various comic book characters to live-action for the first time but also getting a few big coups as well, like Batman himself - as played by Iain Glen. The Captain Pike actor - who's set to lead the upcoming Paramount Plus series Star Trek: Strange New Worlds - has joined scientific organization METI (Messaging Extraterrestrial Intelligence), who are dedicated to making first contact with alien life.

Scream 5 Wraps Filming Ahead Of Theatrical Release
Scream 5 has now wrapped filming. After nine years in limbo, the meta-horror franchise went before cameras again this year for a new movie directed by Radio Silence duo Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, stepping into the big shoes of Wes Craven. Production began back in September and it's now being reported that principal photography is complete, as of mid-November.
