About The Author

Christian Bone is a Staff Writer/Editor at We Got This Covered. Since graduating with a Creative Writing degree from the University of Winchester, he has been cluttering up the internet with his thoughts on movies and TV for over a decade. The MCU is his comfort place but, if you asked him, he'd probably say his favorite superhero film is The Incredibles.

Scream 5 Will Make Wes Craven Proud, Says Original Screenwriter
The idea of doing a Scream movie without Wes Craven might seem like sacrilege to some fans, but it's happening anyway. Scream 5 is shooting right now with Ready or Not directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett behind the camera, in place of the late horror master who passed away in 2015. Some might be worrying that the new filmmakers won't be able to recapture that Craven magic, but apparently, we don't have anything to fear.

LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special Is Now Streaming On Disney Plus
We might not have a new Star Wars movie dropping this December, unlike the past few years, but at least Disney Plus is giving us a treat in the form of The LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special, an animated festive-themefollow-up to both the sequel trilogy and 1978's infamous Star Wars Holiday Special. The 45-minute adventure is available to stream from today - Tuesday, November 17th.

Andrew Garfield Reportedly In Talks For Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness
Following Benedict Cumberbatch and The Amazing Spider-Man 2's Jamie Foxx signing on for Spider-Man 3, everyone's eyes are on the movie as our best bet for the Holland/Maguire/Garfield team-up that we're all waiting for. It's important to note, though, that the threequel has a lot to tackle, so maybe it would make the most sense if it only sows the seeds for a Spider-Verse event in a later film. Like, say, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which drops in the spring after the wall-crawler's next flick.

Lucasfilm Reportedly Wants To Give Katee Sackhoff Her Own Star Wars Movie
Last week's episode of The Mandalorian was a major one, as it brought a popular character from the Star Wars animated universe to live-action for the first time. Not Ahsoka Tano, though she is on her way, but Bo-Katan Kryze, the Mandalorian warrior as played by Katee Sackhoff. While Ahsoka will be portrayed by Rosario Dawson on the show, whereas Ashley Eckstein voiced her on The Clone Wars and Rebels, Sackhoff has embodied the character in both mediums. And she might get to play Bo-Katan in the movies soon, too.

Here’s How Zendaya Could Look As The Batman Universe’s Batgirl
Fans have been waiting to see Batgirl in the DCEU for years now, but we've still yet to meet our next cinematic Barbara Gordon. She's got to be coming soon, though, as The Batman is set to relaunch the Dark Knight's mythos on the big screen. Most actresses who've been fancast for the part tend to be Caucasian and/or red-headed, but actually the signs are pointing to director Matt Reeves likely hiring a person of color for the character.

The Walking Dead’s Jeffrey Dean Morgan Says Door Is Still Open For Negan Spinoff
When The Walking Dead returns for six more episodes in early 2021, it will tackle something fans have been waiting for years to see on screen. One episode will be Negan-centric and explore the former villain's backstory, as inspired by spinoff comic book series Here's Negan. It appears the show will condense the tale into a single hour, then, but is there still room for the character to get his own solo project moving forward?
