The latest unlikely development in the saga of Zack Snyder's Justice League is that, against all the odds, Jared Leto is returning as the Joker. Though his performance in 2016's Suicide Squad was widely panned at the time, the actor's turn as the Clown Prince of Crime has been as reevaluated in the past four years as Snyder's directorial efforts have and now he's taking part in the reshoots for the HBO re-release of the team-up movie that are currently underway.

Every Halloween, countless millennials rewatch 1993's Hocus Pocus, which has a mythic status for anyone who grew up with it in he 90s, and finally Disney is about to capitalize on the cult movie's popularity. The internet has been fan-casting Moon Knight for years now, even long before we knew he was going to be starring in his own Disney Plus TV show, but this afternoon we finally learned who Marvel has chosen for the role. Deadline is reporting that none other than Star Wars sequels actor Oscar Isaac is currently on the verge of completing negotiations to portray Marc Spector, who becomes imbued with ancient powers after being resurrected by an Egyptian god.

Batwoman Reveals First Official Look At Javicia Leslie In The New Batsuit
We've already seen some set photos taken from a distance which gave us a decent glimpse at it, but now The CW has unveiled our first proper look at Javicia Leslie's superhero suit in Batwoman season 2. The God Friended Me actress is taking over as the new lead of the DC TV series following Ruby Rose leaving the role of Kate Kane behind. In her place, Leslie will play Ryan Wilder, a streetwise young woman who inherits the cape and cowl, and she's going to be making a few changes to the Bat-wardrobe.

Green Lantern EP Says The TV Series Will Look Like A Movie
Marc Guggenheim might've been one of the main architects of The CW's Arrowverse for the past eight years, but he's now moving on to oversee HBO Max's incoming Green Lantern TV series. The show is set to be a huge, big budget venture that will feature a range of heroes from the titular Green Lantern Corps. Some fans might be disappointed that we're not getting a new movie instead, but Guggenheim has promised that the series will look just as good as a film with all the storytelling benefits of a TV show, too.

DC Reveals First Look At Jason Todd’s Red Hood In Titans Season 3
Titans kicked off production on its third season earlier this month, and already we've got our first look at a major upgrade for one of the teen heroes. This Monday, the series' official Twitter account shared the full reveal of Jason Todd actor Curran Walters in costume as Red Hood. They also supplied a piece of concept art depicting the antihero, which teases him in gun-toting action.

One of the more heartbreaking cancellations Netflix has made over the past few months is culling Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. The Riverdale spinoff that offers a bold new take on the classic Sabrina the Teenage Witch character has earned itself a lot of acclaim and a loyal fanbase, but the streaming giant nevertheless decided to call it a day on the popular show. Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man Will Reportedly Have A Son In The MCU
Following Jamie Foxx and Benedict Cumberbatch signing up for Spider-Man 3, all the signs are pointing to the threequel cracking open the doors to the Spider-Verse in a major way. Even if they don't end up appearing in that movie, it's looking very likely that Sony and Marvel have plans to bring back Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield as their versions of the wall-crawler soon, with negotiations potentially already underway.

Ryan Reynolds Reportedly Really Wants To Return In Justice League Reshoots
It seems like everybody who's anybody in the DC universe has a chance of coming back in Zack Snyder's Justice League. Reshoots are underway now, with the principal cast returning to shoot new scenes for the incoming HBO Max redo of the team-up movie, and they'll be joined by a few familiar faces. Jared Leto is back as the Joker, for instance, as is Joe Manganiello as Deathstroke and probably Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor.
